Karin Sarayashiki (更屋敷・カリン Sarayashiki Karin) is a beautiful and popular horror-game streamer hailed as the #1 Female Game Streamer People Want to be Stepped on by online, known as "the Cursed Princess". Despite coming across as initially aggressive and confrontational, she is actually easily scared despite being an avid player of horror games and can be sensitive and caring to her friends. She becomes Yuzu's best female friend.

Karin is fair-skinned and has a slim figure. She the tallest among all the girls in the 13th district. She has light pink-colored short hair that is styled in a simple crown braid, and grey, stoic eyes.

- Version 1: Most of the time, Karin wears her school uniform which mainly consists of a short, black dress and a puffy long-sleeved dress shirt underneath, adorned with a fake collar. Around the outside of her collar, she wears a thin black ribbon tied into a neat bow. Her legs are covered, as she wears black thigh-high socks (sometimes stockings) and white, flat school shoes to complete her school uniform. Her school uniform comes with nun image.
- Version 2: She wears high-waisted short skirt and puffy short-sleeved white shirt (without the fake collar), adorned with thin black ribbon tied into a bow. She also wears thigh-high black socks and white shoes.
- Version 3: Basically the same as Version 2, but the shirt is long-sleeved.
- All Girls School Uniform: While on the quest for the 02 chromosomes, Karin and the others are forced to wear the school's uniform. She wears a short plaid skirt and a thin V-neck sleeveless sweater over her school t-shirt. Beneath her sweater is a white long-sleeved collared shirt and tucked black tie. She wears black tights and her hairstyle is the same.
- Summer Outfit: In chapter 14 of the manga (Hot Summer), Karin wears white sleeveless top, adorned with black ribbon tied into a bow around the part under her chest, and a short black skirt. She wears sandals without wearing any socks and her hair is tied into low pigtail hairstyle with the same crown braid.
History[]
Before being kidnapped, Karin was already under extreme stress from her parents' expectations. Karin's family consisted of four people, her parents, an older brother, and herself. As a child, Karin looked up to her older brother very dearly and thought that he's truly a brother worth to be proud of, but then her brother dropped out of his university and left home to pursue his dream by starting his own detective agency after their parents placed too much expectation and responsibility on him. This led to their parents putting all these expectations on Karin instead, which made her resent her brother and despise reality. Because of this, her perfect world had already fallen apart, making her willingness to go back to her real-world, weak.
One day, she went home late because of a piano lesson, then disappeared shortly in the next day. She got kidnapped just before she exploded from the stress of having to endure her parents' expectation.
Personality[]
At first, Karin refused to trust people because she was protective of herself. Her natural attitude toward most people was indifferent, and she only let her guard down with people she was comfortable with. She often jumped to conclusions based on the situation, and she was also short-tempered. She would most likely conclude that the worst probable explanation caused an incident and always test the incident carefully.
Although she specializes in horror games, she admits that it is difficult to enjoy horror when it is happening to her in actual life. During some of her live streams, she gives off a "crazy" or "going off the deep end" vibe, also affecting her reputation with the nickname, "The Bluffing Cursed Princess".
